About this blog
It’s about reading, writing, books and publishing. It’s about book launches, writers’ festivals, the top 10 book-to-movie adaptations and the books people have been spotted reading on trains, planes, buses, ferries and trams.
When we’re not making live, daily literary radio (broadcast at 10am and 8pm Monday to Friday ) this blog is written by the Book Show team and also guest bloggers.
In 2010, we searched for distinctive voices to launch this blog into the blogosphere. Elena Gomez, Sarah Malik, Geoff Lemon, Ronni Phillips and Oliver Phommavanh were the winners. We also found Foz Meadows and Anna Barnes who covered the Melbourne Writers’ Festival and Aussie Con 4. We did this search with the help of the organisation Express Media, which is devoted to giving young people access to the media. Thanks to the winners of the Book Show Blog competition, we enjoyed reading your posts.
