It’s called ‘dark’ or ‘thanatourism’ and it’s one of the impressive growth areas of  the international holiday trade.

Sites of death and horror are being packaged-up and commercialised in order to meet the tourist demand - from Auchwitz to the S21-Prison used by the Khmer Rouge.

Future Tense report on why an increasing number of people are actively seeking out a thanatourism experience.
