A New Tomorrow: Visions of the Future in Cinema

A new exhibition currently showing at the Queensland Art Gallery/Gallery of Modern Art  – until 27th February. Well, we say showing, but screenings have been suspended for a bit due to the Brisbane flood.

Lindy Laker  is a Star Trek freak (her word not ours). She says technology in the series  was remarkably precient.

 

Niall Cook lists the old film Forbidden Planet as one of his favourite works of science fiction.
